Miniature Golf

Miniature Golf has a long-standing tradition as an important part of a Myrtle Beach vacation.  Mini-golf, or “putt putt” as it is sometimes referred, has been a popular and affordable form of family entertainment along the Grand Strand for 50-plus years. The challenging and whimsical courses present golf in an approachable manner for children and first-timers, while offering a tougher test of putting skills, even for the experienced golfer. Here, a kid can beat his old man at his own game and take home bragging rights. A simple game, players receive one ball and one putter at the start, and play their way through a course full of quirky obstacles. Miniature golf courses line the Grand Strand with a wide variety of themes; pirate adventures, jungle safaris, castaway islands, and even prehistoric golf with dinosaurs on every hole. Not surprisingly, the Grand Strand is also host of the Masters of Mini Golf tournament each October.

Captain Hook's Adventure Golf

The Captain Hook’s miniature golf course incorporates elements of the classic children’s tale Peter Pan. Guests play through skull-shaped caverns and pirate ships, complete with smoke, sound effects and realistic cannonball splashes. Each hole ties in thematically with the story of Peter Pan and his ongoing troubles with Captain Hook. A perfect location for birthday parties and youth outings, group rates are available for larger groups.

Hawaiian Rumble

Located in North Myrtle Beach, the Hawaiian Rumble Mini Golf hosts the Masters of Mini Golf Tournament each October. The lush tropical landscaping and gentle Hawaiian music make for a truly scenic and relaxing experience. Keep your ear out for the Rumble” as the course centerpiece is a 40 ft. volcano. Kids will also get a kick out of live tropical birds in the gift shop.
