Sure, burgers, pizza, and fried seafood are the staples of any seaside vacation experience, but many visitors like to plan at least one night (if not several) at one or more of the many Myrtle Beach fine dining restaurants. What exactly is “fine dining?” It’s a focus on expertly prepared food, a meal often served in several courses, often taking the better part of two hours (unless speedier service is requested). It’s well-trained servers who take their jobs seriously, and it’s an ambience perfect for special occasions. The region once lacked many sophisticated, food- and service-focused restaurants, but that’s no longer the case. Though you won’t need formal evening wear to enjoy a fine dining meal, many patrons do dress to impress; the men in coat & tie, and the women in one of their favorite outfits.
